Good Morning sunshine!!
So lastnight, the scariest thing happened to me and my friends..after codys football game we were all riding to waffle house for some grub and all of the sudden..
this deer comes out of NO WHERE and i hit it…but luckily i didnt swerve off the road because it would have been even worse..i just hit the tail end of the little fella..and in the words of cody “you probably only broke his legs, he wont die…until tomorrow” :((
i felt terrible.. but at the same time it was the scariest feeling in the world and i was thanking the lord that we were all okay…that has never happened to me before..and right after it happened i was completely calm..it didnt sink in until later on that night.. i dont think it really affected anyone at first..we were in shock! …if something had happened i would have been DEAD when i got home..my parents would have flipped…or we could have even been hurt, or he could have come barreling through the windshield… or anything! i guess little things like that are signs from god for me to remember to pay close attention..especially at night…
other than that i really enjoyed my evening with cody..they lost the football game, but they still played hard! it was the first time i had ever been to his new town to see him, and let me just say BOONDOCKS. it was the sketchiest place i have ever been to and his school is literally right in the middle of the woods..it was so funny because on the way there i told meg i thought she was taking me to a place for me to get murdered..
but, i had a good time..and i am now getting ready to face all the game day traffic, and head to town…. living in Athens is so much fun, but when the dawgs are playing..its almost impossible to get around … i do love the college atmosphere however..so its worth it to me… i hope everyone has a fabulous saturday!! :) GO DAWGS!
