Today marks a year..a year since a friend from high school passed our senior year. Although I was not personally close with him, it still seemed to sadden me deeply. The day that I found out was like a dream because I could not get him off of my mind. He was the kind of guy that you grow up with and is always around town. I can remember as far back to first grade with him there chasing little girls around the playground. He was always a big flirt! I cant believe its been a whole year, and I’m sure my classmates feel this way too. Class of 2011 will never be the same, and he will never be forgotten. Something as tragic as this reminds us to hug the ones you love close and always live as if today were your last. No one knows what tomorrow will bring….RIP Jordan Ellis you will always be in our hearts.
